Mr. Zhao has been an advisor to the HKCBA Calgary Section Board since 2005 and the treasurer of Calgary Chapter since 2008. 

 

Mr. Zhao is currently with ATB Financial's energy lending group.  Prior to that, he was a commercial banking associate with a Canadian chartered bank.  From 2004 to 2007, Mr. Zhao was a Business Development Manager at Calgary Economic Development, where he was responsible for the Financial Services Sector and China Initiative. Before moving to Canada , Mr. Zhao was with Guosen Securities, a leading investment dealer, based in Shenzhen , China where he held various managerial positions.

 

Mr. Zhao has an MBA (Finance) from University of Calgary ’s Haskayne School of Business and a B.A. (Economics) from China-based Shenzhen University .
