CALGARY HITMEN LAUNCH NEW INITIATIVE WITH THE SING TAO NEWSPAPER 

Kip Reghenas, Director of Business Operations for the Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club is proud to announce a new relationship with the Hong Kong – Canada Business Association as well as the Sing Tao Newspaper.

Together, we have earmarked the February 19^th Hitmen game as the “Lunar Celebration” promoting Multi Culturalism in Calgary and using this game to celebrate the new year that many cultures enjoy during this time period.  This game will highlight many activities within the game that not only provides citizens the first opportunity to watch a hockey game in the Saddledome but also provide our Fan base an opportunity to experience other cultures.

We are also proud to be working with the Sing Tao Newspaper throughout the entire year.  We hope to create more awareness within the Chinese community so that they too can enjoy Canada’s #1 pastime – Hockey but more importantly, Calgary Hitmen Hockey.

We hope that by creating more awareness within the Chinese community and providing an inexpensive means to attend Hitmen games, the hockey club will be creating a whole new fan base.  It will also allow our Hitmen players and Organization to become more involved in community functions and projects.
