On Thursday, October 6, 2016, HKCBA (Calgary) will be hosting its next networking event at the Calgary Zoo, in conjunction with the ILLUMINASIA Chinese Lantern & Garden Festival running from September 8th – October 16th at the Calgary Zoo. The authentic Chinese lanterns will light up the zoo and create an enchanting evening. The 2016 festival lanterns will highlight the four seasons, including the four noble plants of the Chinese culture, as well as incorporating zoo and culturally symbolic animals. Visitors will also have the opportunity to experience authentic Chinese entertainment and multicultural programming.
In addition to the ability to enjoy the lantern festival and delicious hors d’oeuvres served during the networking reception, our guests will hear from special guest speakers.

Rudi was the winner of our 2015 Investment Pitch Competition and is on the path to becoming the first company to bring bison meat to Asia. Rudi will give us an update on what he’s been up to since winning our competition in March 2015.
